In St. Petersburg, this program has been functioning since 2016. The project presupposes that the citizens of St. Petersburg offer their ideas on the development of the urban environment, thereby creating new urban spaces and influencing the efficiency of the expenditure of budgetary funds.

During the five years of work, the project “Your Budget” has already carried out more than 30 projects in 10 districts of St. Petersburg through the cooperation of local initiative groups and the municipal authorities.

The main counselor of the project is the European University in St. Petersburg and its affiliated institution, the UP Center for Humanistic Urbanism, which, among other activities, arranges educational events for citizens.
